This is a combined register description and information document, in accordance with sections 10 and 24 of the Finnish Personal Data Act (523/1999) and Articles 12 and 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (679/2016), for the customers, potential customers and website users of Coderum Oy.

5. Duration of processing
As a rule, personal data is processed for as long as the customer agreement for which we need the data remains in force. We record the data in the register as we receive it from the data subject, and it is updated according to what the data subject reports to the controller.
6. Your rights

Right of access
You have the right to check the personal data we have stored about you. If you notice errors or omissions in your data, you can ask us to correct or complete it.
Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time if you feel that we have processed your personal data unlawfully or that we have no right to process some of your personal data.
Right to erasure
If you feel that processing some of the data concerning you is not necessary for our purposes, you have the right to ask us to erase that data. We will process your request and then either erase your data or inform you of a justified reason why the data cannot be erased. If you disagree with our decision, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman (instructions for filing a complaint). You also have the right to require us to restrict the processing of the disputed data until the matter has been resolved.

The data of potential customers is obtained with their consent from the persons themselves in connection with a website visit or other personal or digital interaction.

Data is not disclosed outside Coderum Oy for marketing purposes.

We have chosen secure data centres located in Europe as the storage location for your data.
10. Principles of register security
The secure processing of your personal data is important to us. We use the following safeguards to ensure the security of your data.
Access to the system requires entering a username and password. The system is also protected by firewalls and other technical means.
Only certain, predefined employees of the controller have access to and are authorised to use the register data stored in the system.
Use of the register is protected by user-specific IDs, passwords and access rights.
The register is located on a computer placed on a server in a data centre to which unauthorised access is prevented.
The data contained in the register is located in locked and guarded premises.
The register is backed up regularly.
